New pieces and don't I look happy and proud about it

A few new pieces. All earrings.

Please, I wish to get your opinion on this picture of me. Is it a good one to use as a photo of me when I am submitting to for instance a magazine? I assume it will most often be printed much smaller than what you see it here in any case. Like a thumbnail. I'm wearing a Marsha Neal Scarf and the newly made earrings you see above here. With MissFickleMedia petals.
Oh, and this is also the the first time I go public with my new hair-do. It's grown a bit now since I cut it. I borrowed my husbands trimmer and cut it on the shortest. So ... But now I feel I need to go to the hair dresser to get a nice and proper cut. Soon.

I love seeing your face, Miss Malin! I used to have hair that short, all through high school and college. The long stuff is a new thing for me. And I think that I am inching back to having my hair that short again someday. I love those earrings with the MissFickle petals and that you used them asymmetrically. I have a hard time doing that in earrings! Enjoy the day!

Oh, I love the square earrings! And I really like how you made those earrings you're wearing just slightly asymmetrical by putting the colored petal in different positions.

As for the photo, it's very nice. The scarf brings out your eyes. You're lucky that you can have such short hair. Not everyone can pull off that look, but it works on you. It would be perfect for magazine submissions.

Malin, first off I love the earrings. I would have not thought to hang the petals asymmetrically. I think the photo of you is perfect for the magazines. You have beautiful blue-gray eyes and the hair works on you.

You look beautiful. A perfect picture for magazines! I love all the earrings, particularly the MFM petals that you're wearing there, and I agree with Heidi that it's lovely that they are just asymmetrical. You really suit your new hair. I would look like a total monster with hair that short!!

Gorgeous photo! I think it's perfect sending to magazines and the like.

Your earrings are so lovely. My favorite pair is the petals from Miss Ficklemedia.

Great Earrings, I like the square ones best, but they are all great. Your scarf looks like one I bought from Michelle B on Etsy. Photo is good too, Looking into the camera may look better though, just my thoughts.

Thank you for all nice comments!
Cilla - I agree about looking into the camera. I'll maybe give myself a new photo session any day soon. If I get around to it ...

I love your picture! It really shows your lovely hazel eyes.

I love how you wrapped that short stack of fuchsia seed beads on that last pair--really clever. I like those earwires too! And I like the pine green and kelly green together on the square earrings. I'll have to remember that...(steal steal)...

Your hair looks just fine, Malin. You are very lovely. I would use a different photo to promote yourself however...one that has your face angled in a more traditional fashion...it is a little too close-up...just my two cents!!

The scarf really accentuates the color of your eyes; excellent choice!

Love your last earrings (white stone pendant with red). Thanks.

I think you are amazingly brave, Malin. I'd never dare cut my own hair but you look so cute in that hairdo! I love it on you. And I love the photo, too. You look open and approachable and very pretty!

Dropped in for a look at your blog having read about it in Beads & Beyond - definitely deserving of the tag 'Blog Of The Month'!

Not having seen you before - when I saw your photo I was immediately struck by your eyes and smile . . . your hair didn't feature until I read your text! Sally above mentions 'open' and I think she is right!
