Charlie - is he an assistant?

I am trying to sort out a lot of my bead stash at the moment. To get rid of things I got early in my beading "carreer" and that I believe I will never use. Here you can see a few bags at the bottom of a plastic box.
Hm, Charlie thought, after having tried to lay straight across the keyboard of my computer as I was working on it, and I didn´t let him. He just had to find another cozy spot, didn't he.
Hm, seems something is going on with this box here. And it seems small enough for me to do one of my famous squeeze-into-a-tiny-space tricks. Yes, it worked! I had to change position about ten times. And quite a bit of my body is hanging over the edge, but hey, there is a plastic cup I can rest my chin on. Do you see how perfectly comfortably my front legs are pushing against the wall of the box? Good thing it is transparent so you can actually see it.

"One-a-Day-Challenge" - No 1 - Bracelet "Lori"

I have given myself a new challenge. I shall complete one piece of jewellery every day. I call it my own " One-a-Day-Challenge". This is the first piece. Completed on friday the 4th of june 2010.
Coincidentally, (or perhaps not), I got very inspired yesterday when I saw Lorelei's latest jewellery using hard wire. So I was gonna try that style myself. But I got somewhat carried away during the process, so it ended up that you can't see any of the wire at all. But I am very pleased anyway. And I just had to name this bracelet "Lori", after Lorelei Eurto of course.
Materials:
Dandelion focal - Heather Powers of HumbleBeads
Patinated brass wire - Patina Queen
Two brass dangles - Objects & Elements
Creme roughly facetted glass beads
Turqouise e-beads
Etched brass round
Copper clasp
Brass rolo chain
My cat Charlie likes to squeeze into tiny spaces as I have mentioned before here on my blog. This is today's attempt. A shoebox for the new shoes we bought yesterday for my daughter Arabella. And ... he succeded very well, didn't he.

The story of Alice, Charlie & the Wood Adventure

I went for a walk in the woods behind our house today. And my cats decided to come along, as they often do. It is very cozy to have their company.
We decided to stop by the big rocks and just hang out there for a little while. Listening to the birds tweeting and just enjoying the sites. But then suddenly just after I took this last picture Charlie shot off. Something was going on, but what? I started filming. And you should see the film to find out what happened. I think you will enjoy watching it! It is a three-part film. About 3 1/2 minutes alltogether. The link should take you to a playlist for all three films. In the end I speak Swedish if you wonder. I get so 'excited' that I kind of forget the english ...
Please excuse the bad quality of the film, it is the first time ever I upload something to YouTube.

Cunning marketing tactics

To use a cat very similar to my own one was a very clever way of catching my attention. But it wasn't really necessary since I already had discovered and fallen in love with Bullfinch & Barbury. All thanks to Lorelei's Blog. Thank you Lorelei! And Lia, I might come by and do some shopping one day in a not too far future.
