Long Necklaces

I am a tall woman, 184 cm or just above 6 feet. I don't know if that is the reason I like elongated things just in general. But perhaps the explanation could be found there. It is not completely unlikely anyway. Or what do you think?

And, when it comes to jewelry I believe I most often like to make things sort of fitting my own body constitution proportion wise. And also to go with the kind of clothes I like to wear. So with necklaces, I  often like them long. To hang below my bussom.

However, I find long necklaces a bit difficult to photograph. So I have a bunch of them made over time that I have not yet taken proper single photos of. Here are a few. I decided to take a group picture of:

Most of them contain beautiful and exciting art beads. The two ones furthest to the right are my latest creations in the lot, finished in January. I often put a clasp also on my long necklaces, even though they would easily go over the head, if I believe some people might like to wear them doubled or even tripled.

All my best,
Malin

Lovely, all 8 of them! I especially like the first one (I chose the open hand as my symbol this year instead of focusing on a word.) They all just shout SPRING!

OOh! How lovely! I, too, put the clasp on them most of the time. It just feels finished to me that way and if I can make it part of the decoration I will do that! I love that one with the coin shaped beads on the right. These look like they would fit right in with the trends that I have been spying! Your style is so easy and comfortable with a surprise twist. I admire that about you! Enjoy the day. Erin

I'm on the opposite end of the height scale. Yup, I'm a shorty, but I do love me a long necklace too. And, you are so right. . .they are a pain to photograph. I am glad you shared these with us, they are beautiful!
