Echo Creative Club beads for September

September month, and I am participating again in the Echo Creative Club by Jeannie Dukic. This time she sent me these 4 13mm chocolate colored crackle beads. On the 25th I will blog about what I made with the beads I got. And so will the other participants. Make sure to check back then.

Thank you so much Jeannie!!! They are very yummy, and I do really look forward to use them. My instant sort of idea when I saw them was (of course?) to create something where I really use the chocolate feeling and work on that theme. I think of yummy deserts, or sweets/candy. Well, I guess we'll see what I end up doing.

Echo Creative Club May

Echo Creative Club May. This is the second time I'm in. I got these lovely beautiful White Painted Peels Beads from Jeannie Dukic this month. And I have used them in two pieces.

First in a bracelet together with Olive Serpentine Faceted Rounds 10mm and Blue Lace Agate Teardrops 9mm.

And then a pair of earrings with Copper Paddle/Head Pins that I twisted.

Echo Creative Club February

This is the first time I participate in Jeannie K Dukic's Echo Creative Club. It will be three more times this year. :-)

I picked her black Peeled Paint beads 16 mm, to work with. Slightly out of my normal range, but I was really in the mood to make something different from what I normally do. These beads are super nice with their golden and copper leaf layers. Very light weight of course. And they also come in other colors, check Jeannie's blog for more info.

I decided to work with the black as a dominant color. The result is hopefully both dramatic and classy. I myself would wear these pieces with a black turtleneck jumper and all black clothes. The double pyramid glass beads in the necklace are shiny on the one side of the pendant, and matte on the other one. On the matte side I also used matte rounds, nearer to the clasp. In my stash I found the large vintage shiny bakelite type button, perfect for the closure. The hand made copper hoops for the earrings are really big.
