This photo is taken right outside my front door today. My Euonymous Planipes tree that helps me experience the seasons in such a beautiful way. So today's Swedish lesson will be on this word - RIMFROST. Enjoy some rrrrrrrrollling rrrrrrr's!
Love this word and can do it too ( have practiced with my French rrrrrs, although they are a little different)! Yea me! No rimfrost here, it is just ice on the windows - -31 Celsius this morning and wind....
That was cold Claire - 31 wow in Sweden today it is almost a little spring in the air (where I live a bit south of Malin) when the sun was up snow was melting a bit ....some parts of the walking path is free of snow :) walking on ice is a bit scary....
ha ha! I love it Malin. You do know that I am indeed Scottish? We are very good at rrrrrrrrrrrrolling our Rrrrrrrrrrs! In fact, I actually do it too much when I sing in Italina when the Rs are usually 'flipped' rather than fully rolled. What a beautiful picture! Looking forward to more vlogs.

Malin,
I am trying to say rimfrost. My Rs don't roll. They tumble. I need a lot of practice. My husband Dave rrrrrolled his Rs rrrrright away.
I'm looking forward to more lessons.

p.s. I like your description of rimfrost and the photo. We definitely get rimfrost in Minnesota. I know exactly what you are talking about!

Well of course I knew that Rebecca, just had a temporarily forgetful moment while I did that recording ...
